Resources are attached to our identity not our circumstances

God does not allocate resources to your problems. He attaches them to our identity in Jesus. His primary purpose is in our becoming the exact likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are therefore learning how to grow up in all things in Christ. In our life events we are being schooled that God says yes and Amen to our identity in Christ-2 Corinthians 1: 20.

In Christ, the Father loves to make us big promises. Our covenant can never be detached from the majesty and sovereignty of Christ within. God works in us both to will and to do, for his good pleasure-Philippians 2: 13. Big promises require huge provisions. Only in our truest identity can we experience the favor required to cash in our promises.

If we do not see ourselves as God sees us we cannot turn problems into provision. As we learn to put on Christ our persona in heaven becomes activated in our circumstances. How are we known in heaven becomes the seed bed for miracles to occur. When we know heaven’s perspective of us we can align ourselves with that vision and cultivate the mindset and the terminology of our inheritance. Our identity in Christ has the faith we require; the creativity we need and the passion to succeed. The Holy Spirit is using our circumstances to cultivate the divine nature in us and then He trains us to occupy that place in abiding presence.

This is why we are given inheritance words in scripture and also prophetic words through ministry. They are designed to expose us to our true identity and expand our partnership with the Holy Spirit.

How we are known in heaven will expedite our deliverance from negativity, bondage, from the enemy and a poverty mindset. A poverty spirit is not about economic vulnerabilities but is more concerned about living with meager possibilities. Our identity is our permission to step outside the confines of our personality into the fullness of God. Fullness and abundance are linked to our identity in Christ. Lack of identity means that we do not ask in faith because we have allowed for the possibility of doubt. We’ve become double minded, unstable and have no expectation to receive from God.

When we see our true identity and begin to partner with the Holy Spirit, we learn to see the resources that are attached to who we are becoming in him.

You are learning to move away from being problem focused to identity conscious. What is your process of alignment and how does the Lord develop you in this context?
