Since I am teaching on the principles of the kingdom of God, I will share my understanding of the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is not of this world, it is in another dimension, the unseen realm or the spirit realm, it is as close to you as the air you breath, it is like a parallel universe. There are Angles around you right now, but you cannot see them with your physical eyes, they live in that realm yet are right next to you.
The veil has been torn between the spirit realm and the earth, so we can see and enter into the kingdom realm of the spirit, now!
You can learn more in that realm in five minutes, that you could in studying the bible for your entire lifetime here on earth.
The Kingdom of God involves something more than we have known. It is something more than the rules and regulations of Mount Sinai or even the morality of the Christian Church: it involves something worked into our spirit by God Himself. Consequently, when the Lord gave the Beatitudes, He was speaking about the human spirit.
We read in Luke 17:21, …the kingdom of God is within you. All the external things in the natural realm are illusions (like the movie “The Matrix”), and that which is within us is reality. The illusions will pass away and change, but God within us and what He does in our spirits and becomes in our spirits is that which is eternal.
We are spiritual being having a human experience for the training of the male and female children of God, which will determine our positions in the kingdom-government of God in the age to come.
The kingdom is within our spirit, but it is also outside of us, it includes eternity, the universe, heaven, and hades and all that is in between.
The kingdom is God’s rule, in heaven itself is YHWH on the throne, Jesus at his right hand.
Then we have the enemy who had fallen from heaven to the earth and took 1/3rd of the angels with him. But when he fell to the earth it totally destroyed it, and all the beings on the earth at that time became disembodied spirits, because the destruction of the material realm did not destroy their spirits but only their bodies, so they are now disembodied spirits.
The fallen angels have some kind of spiritual body I believe. And the beings that were dwelling on the earth somehow became the servants of Satan, what we call now “demons, unclean spirits, or familiar spirits.”
Then YHWH recreated the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1:2 and formed Adam’s body out of the dust of the earth, or the gold dust on the earth.
Genesis 2: 10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
Now when YHWH formed the body of Adam, he breathed into that body Adam’s spirit and Adam became a living soul, and YHWH gave him dominion over the earth. I think before this Satan had dominion over the earth but lost it after YHWH destroyed it.
YHWH then put Adam in a garden eastward in Eden “This is a different garden than the one the Father has in heaven.”
The earth is patterned after the planet heaven, but it seems to have three levels sort of like the tabernacle of Moses. The outer court, the holy place and the holiest place where the Father’s throne is.
Now when YHWH put Adam in the garden, he told him to guard it because Satan and these fallen demons had access to it. And he also told him to replenish the earth; another words have children.
He then put two trees in the garden, one symbolizing Jesus the other Satan, and told Adam not to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and if he did, he would die.
Now when Adam partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he was in a sense parking of Satan’s nature or submitting to his will.
And when he did this, he lost his authority over the earth and basically gave it to Satan who then became the god of this world. Before this Adam was the god of this world.
Now lucifer, the mourning star, Satan, the Devil, whatever you want to call him does not like to dwell on the earth now, he dwells above the earth on his throne over the entire earth and his angles who followed him over different cities and some nations.
But the enemy came down upon the earth and dwelt in and took control of the serpent in the garden and spoke through the serpent when he deceived eve. He is also called a man in verse 16.
Isaiah 14: 12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’ 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. 16 “Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, 17 Who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’
Anyway, we know Satan actually entered Judas who betrayed the Lord. He seems to enter a person and then leaves them.
Anyway, Jesus got control back of the earth and disarmed Satan of his authority over the earth and delegated it to the body of Christ. This is called the first dominion.
