One of the most common accusations that rises against anyone awakening to divine union is this predictable sentence:
“You think you’re God.”
This accusation doesn’t come from revelation.
It comes from separation consciousness — the carnal mind that still imagines God as distant, external, and somewhere “out there,” instead of the indwelling life that has always been your Source.
When people hear the language of union, they hear replacement.
They assume someone is claiming to be the Creator of the universe, or the One who formed galaxies.
But awakening is not claiming to be the Almighty.
Awakening is discovering what Jesus Christ prayed in John 17 — that you were never separate in the first place.
YOU ARE NOT GOD—YOU ARE OF GOD
Here is the real truth:
You are not God the Source.
But you are of God’s own Spirit, God’s own life, God’s own breath.
You carry the same nature, the same substance, the same indwelling presence.
You are a facet of God’s expression,
a fragrance of God’s being,
a unique embodiment of divine life in human form.
Not separate.
Not distant.
Not outside.
Not other.
Just as a flame comes from fire but is not the entire wildfire — you come from God, and nothing about your being exists apart from Him.
This is why Scripture says:
“Bone of My bone, flesh of My flesh.”
“In that day you will KNOW I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”
That day is awakening.
THE WORLD LOVES UNITY UNTIL IT SEES ORIGINALITY
People say they want unity —
but what they really want is conformity.
The moment someone stops conforming to the outer-court version of religion and steps into the Holy of Holies within,
the same people who preach unity become the ones who scatter.
They scatter because they fear what has not awakened in them yet.
This is why Jesus said the gatekeepers:
“You do not enter yourselves, and you hinder those who are entering.”
The outer court always resists the inner sanctuary.
PROGRAMMING SHAPES PERCEPTION
People don’t accuse you out of revelation —
they accuse you out of programming.
If someone has spent their whole life imagining God as far away, they will defend that image with their whole identity.
But Scripture says:
“As a man thinks, so is he.”
Not: “As another man thinks about him.”
When the fear of man dies,
the accusations lose all their weight.
The judgments lose their bite.
The opinions lose their authority.
Because once you have experienced union,
once the deep has touched your spirit,
you cannot return to the shallow without carrying the deep.
And the deep makes you different —
it makes you drip with revelation and love
And many people simply don’t want to get wet
“You were never separate —
only sleeping.
Wake, beloved, and remember the One you have always been one with
