Is this not the day of victory? Let not your heart be downcast, for thou shalt believe the words of the Lord, and behold, it shall come to pass. Rest in the Lord, for He hath given great things unto thee.
Behold, what blessing hath the Lord bestowed upon the remnant. Hath He made them strong? Nay, they are but a feeble people. Hath He made them wise? Nay, they are considered the foolish of the earth. Hath He made them rich? Nay, they are the poor, called the offscouring of the earth. What has our God done for them?
He hath given them a word and He hath given them the permission to use His authority. Behold, He hath laid His sceptre in thy hand. He hath caused thee to sit upon the throne with Him. He that hath a name above every name with all authority in heaven and earth under that name, hath said unto thee: Thou art the bearer of My name. In My name ye shall cast out devils; in My name ye shall heal the sick; in My name ye shall prevail. So rejoice, little flock for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. And He hath bestowed upon thee His precious name that ye should use His authority.
Yea, when has the heart heard of such a thing that thou shouldest use the authority of the King of kings and the Lord of lords? Yea, though thou art weak in thyself; thou hast His authority. Though thou knowest not many answers of the great problems that beset thee, thou hast His authority. Stand fast in the Lord! For the Lord hath given you the authority of His name. Prevail, O house of God, prevail!
Again, the Spirit saith unto thee: Arise and prevail. For hath not the Lord said: It is not by might and it is not by power, but it’s by My Spirit. And therefore doth He say unto thee: By the Spirit of the Lord ye shall rise in the authority of the Lord and prevail over the powers of darkness. Yea, is it not so? Shall the gates of hell prevail against thee? In thy faith thou shalt stand. Waver not; discard it not. Turn it not aside from thee, nor count it a thing unworthy; for the authority of the name of Jesus resides in thy heart and in thy mouth. Use it—against all the powers of darkness. Stand ye against the hosts of the enemy, for thou hast the authority of the King, and if God be for thee, who shall be against thee? Amen.
What fears the enemy? Does he fear thy power? Does he fear thy wisdom? Does he fear thy perception of spiritual things? Nay, but he feareth the authority that resteth upon thee. For shall not the weakest of thee arise and take a prey? Shall ye not possess the kingdom? Doth not the enemy tremble at the name of Jesus Christ when thou hast appropriated its authority and power? Oh stand and worship in the authority of that name and claim the victories that are thine, for the victory is surely thine. Amen.
