We are not governed by externals. We are led by the Spirit. Our soul by itself will control our experience, but then we will go nowhere. Our soul was created as a vehicle for the spirit. It should have no authority, only obedience. Your soul is made-up of your will, your mind, your emotions, your imagination, and your conscience.
Each must come under the rule of the Holy Spirit living in your spirit. We are born again by the Spirit so that we can experience God within.
When we experience life from an external perspective, we are subject to all the stress and pressure from that realm. When we conduct life from the spirit, we are inclined to the nature of God and the fruit of the Spirit, and we are open to faith in his character. Power comes from a life lived with Christ and within ourselves.
The soul needs to be anchored in serving the spirit. Then we are at our most joyful, peaceful and powerful. Our perception of God comes from being renewed in the spirit of our mind so that the mind of Christ empowers us to receive wisdom.
In order to prosper in our situations, we must live from the inside out.
What does it mean for you to live from within? What current perspectives are driven by external circumstances? How will you cooperate with the Holy Spirit in living from the right place?
