We tend to think and subconsciously believe that the spirit realm is not as real as the natural realm. We think that consciously or unconsciously because we live most of our time in the natural realm without spiritual awareness. So in our thinking and our consciousness and our awareness we tend to think that the world we can touch with our hand and see with our physical eyes and the world around us is more real.
God is immortal, invisible to natural eyes. God is not invisible to the eyes of our spirit. We live by faith and not by sight; this is not talking about spiritual sight but physical. In the realm of the spirit we ought to develop and have spiritual sight.
Ephesians 1:18 Paul prayed that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened. That we might know what is the hope of our calling.
Second Corinthians 3:18 with an open face we are beholding the glory of God. With an unveiled face we are beholding the realm of the spirit, beholding in a glass the glory of the Lord – is a spiritual thing because we are changed when we do that into the same image. Even as by the Spirit of Lord.
Second Corinthians 4:18 we look not at things which can be seen with the natural eyes but those things which are not seen. How do we look at things which are not seen? With the eyes of our spirit. The things which are seen with the natural eyes are temporal. Things which are not seen are eternal. The realm of the spirit
We are told to look unto Jesus – Hebrews 12:2. We are told to behold him.
When Adam fell (into himself) he lost his ability to see in the kingdom realm. He no longer lived from his spirit but began to live from the soul and his physical senses. It blotted out the realm of his spirit within him. When Adam sinned he lost his ability to see in the spirit realm.
When our spirit is quickened we have the ability to see in the spirit. John 3:3 except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. This is not talking about when we die physically. When we are born again we have the ability, the inherent ability to see the kingdom realm.
John 18:36 – My kingdom is not of this world, but when you’re born again you can see the kingdom. My kingdom is not of this realm it is in the invisible realm. It is in the realm of spirit. The kingdom of God includes Angels; it includes heaven, the cloud of witnesses, Jesus, the whole realm of the Spirit of God Incorporated in the kingdom of God.
We have to learn how to move in that realm, see in that realm, hear in that realm, and learn the feeling of that realm. This is something we have to learn.
What is spirit? Spirit substance is mostly manifest in the form of light. Light is a form of energy, is a form of power.
When we get in the presence of the Lord He will emanate depending upon our spiritual state a degree of energy or light or power. He emanates this.
God is light, his substance is light, and his motivation is love. God is light, he is love. He doesn’t have these things he is made of these things. This is spirit substance.
In Psalm 63:2 – David says I long to see your power and your glory in your sanctuary. Power and glory often go together. The manifestation of glory is light.
Psalm 145:11 – They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and talk of your power, they go together.
When we get into the presence of God – when we behold Him in His presence, something happens to us. Because we are in the presence of light, we are in the presence of glory, and we are in the presence of power. That power, that presence, that energy emanating from the Lord begins to change us.
The more we behold Him in our consciousness of His presence the more we begin to change. Beholding him we are changed into the same likeness.
Being in the presence of God has tremendous ability to change us. When we are exposed to that light, that glory and presence of God, it is transferred to us, our spirit absorbs it.
Angels are beings of light because they spent time in the presence of the Lord. Now when Angels spend some time upon the earth their glory begins to diminish, because their only source of glory and light is the presence of God. They spend time in the presence of God being in His light.
Our new created man, our spirit is a being of light. Not only is Jesus the light of the world, but we are the light of the world. Our spirit is to begin to shine. And when it gets to the point that we are exposed to that energy source, the presence of God, like the Angels are in heaven, Transfiguration will begin to take place.
That energy, life, power and the glory of God in our spirit begin to emanate and Transfiguration comes from the inside out, not from the outside in. It comes when our spirit is exposed to the glory and the presence and the power of God to such a degree that it begins to emanate that glory, that power, that energy, that life of God himself, and slowly Transfiguration begins to take place. They looked to the Lord and they were lightened.
The anointing of God is simply a form of light that is all. It is a clothing of light. The anointing is the light of God upon us.
We have to learn to work with our spirit. We have to learn how to enter God’s realm, to do this, we do it with our spirit.
Our spirit has a full set of senses, and our senses in our spirit are far superior to our natural senses in our physical body. Our spirit senses are far more acute, far more active, and far more superior.
As our spirit grows, the more light we begin to walk in
