Vision is never just about the direction that we are moving towards. It is also about the height at which we are expecting to travel in the Holy Spirit. To be in Christ is to experience His exultation.
Everything about being in Christ is concerned with elevation. We need the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of Him, so that we can be enlightened to see ourselves in Him as the focal point of our relationship. Our resurrection with Jesus to a glorious heightened state is a major key, which has a massive impact on how we live our lives in the Spirit. Jesus is not earthbound in His spirituality, and we have been placed in him and he is in us; then we cannot be subject to anything that would restrict us, because it cannot restrict Him – Ephesians 1: 17 – 23; 2: 5-7.
We need an enlightened perception so powerful that we are raised up to encounter and experience heavenly identity that Governs any earthly circumstance. We are called to divine expectations in the context of the riches of his glory and our inheritance, and the incredible majesty that is part of the relationship involving the father with the son. We are placed in the position of ruling and reigning with him in this life and in the one to come.
So much of our Christian experience cannot be successfully dealt with if we are always contending with it on the same level that it appears. We never deal with a negative directly. It comes at us from a lower level of existence than our placement in Christ. If we respond on the same level, we become tethered to that thought and its oppositional perception. The impact on our mental and emotional state can work against our faith, trust and enjoyment of God.
When we learn to live in the fullness of who Jesus is for us we experience His elevation. As we focus on our identity in Him the negative viewpoint is dealt with indirectly in the process. The enemy wants us to deal with the negative thought. We do not fight against anything according to an earthly perspective. The weapons we use emanate from a higher place of majesty and truth. In warfare it is the majestic truth in our thinking that empowers our overcoming.
We are citizens of heaven here on earth, and we draw our revelation and power from that domain-Philippians 3: 20. On earth as it is in heaven is the key to breaking through. We seek everything from the sphere of Christ’s rule at the right hand of God. Our thoughts are therefore heavenly not earthly in the context of His supremacy-Colossians 3: 1-3.
It is vital we get above our situation so that we are not brought down to earth with the contrary viewpoint. If we try to deal with the negative, then we become engaged in a fight we do not need to make. If our thinking has brought us to a place that we do not like, then we must have a different thought. There is a better thought that can capture us into a place of obedience.
A heavenly perspective will always bring us into a place of increase. Height in the Spirit connects our vision with heavenly places. It connects us to authority, power and dominion as a lifestyle of enjoying the majesty of Jesus. An elevated thought life (Colossians 3: 2) leads us into the fullness of Christ-Ephesians 1: 22- 23.
Cast down every negative viewpoint that causes struggling in our life and relationship’s. What is the opposite thought that can catapult us to a place of divine acceleration? Practice only dealing with the new thought, and you’ll experience a fresh faith rising up that empowers you to realize the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
