We need to really allow God to search our hearts, to reveal to us our primary destiny, why we were born on this earth?
Who are we? What is the purpose of even being on this earth? Why are we here?
How can we fulfill our destiny- the reason we were born into this world, when we do not even know what it is?
As God reveals our primary destiny to us, and we whole heartedly begin to pursue it, what we knew in theory, we begin to experience in a reality that far transcends mere knowledge.
“Most Christians in this world pass through life without any well-defined purpose other than getting to heaven when they die.”
Most Christians struggle to find God’s will for their lives, without realizing that first of all, the will of God is a state of being, a condition of spirit, a certain kind of heart.
As God purifies our heart and we actually step beyond the veil into the realm where God lives, understanding and revelation explode within us. WE see as God sees, and this is the kind of transformation that we need.
In one moment, EVERYTHING becomes clear. The meaning of life which seems profound, becomes very simple.
“Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of His waterfalls (a water channel).” (Psalms 42:7)
This is speaking of the river of life, and as we become immersed in it on the other side of the veil, it then flows out of our heart from heaven into the natural realm, and people who come into contact with it flowing through us, encounter God.
It is the river of life and whatever its waters touch come alive in such a way that the meaning and purpose of God’s will and heart become crystal clear.
“ We are on a journey to become like Jesus Christ”
Our primary quest in life is to become like Jesus Christ.”
Why do we so quickly lose sight of this as the major purpose of our lives here on earth?
We have to truly become like a little child, because Jesus said the Kingdom of God is such as this.
We attain a certain level in God and we think we know it all, that we are right and everyone else is wrong.
Every encounter with God humbles you and then exalts you as you partake of a little more of His divine nature. We are to be on a journey where we go from glory to glory, but how many are truly on this path?
If becoming like Jesus is not our primary quest in this life then we will not successfully fulfill our secondary calling, which we call our ministry.
We put the cart before the horse and wonder why we have become frustrated, and people are not hearing what we are saying, it is because our words are not filled with His Spirit and His life.
Life on earth is designed in such a way to prepare and enable us to be conformed to the image of Jesus.
The trials, disappointments, failures and sorrows all serve to shape and groom us for our highest calling.
ROMANS 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
COLOSSIANS 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Millions of Christians eventually die only to find themselves in heaven without having fulfilled the purpose for which they were born.
Even though they made it to heaven, their loss is great. God is looking for sons and daughters that have been conformed to His image while they were still living on Planet Earth. Jesus is looking for a bride without spot and wrinkle, and we can attain to it in this life.
For ones such as these, their eternal state and calling is far beyond anything that we could ever imagine with our limited minds.
We all pass through this life on a planet that is designed to be hard enough to bring many sons to glory.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:39-42
There are different levels on earth and in heaven.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead.
Paul the Apostle saw the importance of being conformed to the image of Jesus. He knew that this life was only a schoolhouse for Sons of God; he knew the importance of graduating with honors, into our functions set apart for us in heaven.
ROMANS 8:18-20
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
When we truly enter into the realm of the Spirit, beyond the veil that separates us from truly encountering God, we are flooded with the Mind of Christ, and we cannot remember much of what we have experienced, but a deposit of God in our spirit has occurred and we will never be the same again.
We need to realize this kind of revelation exists and is available to us and as we continue to seek God and press into the realm in which He exists, we will be changed from glory to glory and our capacity to contain the glory of His Spirit will increase.
