When God points to a deficiency in your life, he’s introducing you to your next miracle.
There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who are seeking to pursue their identity in him. We are in Christ, learning to be Christ like. Your heavenly father loves strategic life exchange. He loves to take our bad habits and replace them with attributes of his beloved son.
The Holy Spirit adores the inner actions with us that take us into a lifestyle of righteousness. He loves to make war on the flesh. He cherishes freedom and he is absolutely delighted to make Jesus real to us, in US, and through us.
When God points out a part of our life that is not working, he is pointing to the site of our next victory. The Holy Spirit rubs his hands with Glee, he gets so excited at the thought of the blessing, freedom and release that he can bring to us in this area of our life.
God is not ashamed of us, or angry at us. He is planning brilliant things for the deficient parts of our lives. This is what Jesus died for-our freedom from sin and death. This is why the Holy Spirit is given to us-to make us like Christ. Because he loves freedom so much, all confrontations between the spirit and the flesh within us are a source of great joy to the Lord. Because he is our deliverer! There is nothing he likes more than setting us free, making us clean and holy, forming Christ within us. There is no condemnation, only the happy contemplation of a new freedom taking up residence in our hearts. When God wants to change us, he always gives us a promise and a provision that is centered on the fullness of Christ.
He wants us to be excited and enthusiastic about becoming like Jesus, as he is in being formed in us. Make no mistake here. When God puts his finger on a part of your life that is not working-he is joyfully pointing at the sight of your next miracle!
We must personally experience the Words of God to us, they impart his Spirit to us. When God speaks to us, he imparts himself through his words. Then we must hold fast the word spoken to us. Then the word becomes written on our heart. This is how we become the WORD!
