The death of Jesus on the cross was a sacrifice. Jesus, as the high priest, offered Himself as the sacrifice to God through the Holy Spirit. And that by that sacrifice, He put away sin forever.
The work of Calvary (the cross) is a perfect work, perfect in every respect, perfect in every aspect.
The last thing that Jesus said on the cross, which is translated in most versions(translations) of the Bible, is “it is finished” (John 19:30).
In Greek it is one single word, teleō. And that is the perfect tense of a verb that means to do something perfectly. You could translate it, it is perfectly perfect, or it is completely complete.
It means to make an end or to accomplish, to complete something, not merely to end it, but to bring it to perfection or its destined goal, to carry it through.
Legally the cross has provided everything we need spiritually, physically, and the transformation of our soul.
Jesus becomes our provision so that we can become transformed into his likeness and image this has to do with our spirit and soul.
Jesus also provides what we need physically, which provides for us financially (material needs) and our body, whether we need healing, or body parts (the gift of miracles).
Vitally we must lay hold of the provision of the cross by faith, so that it comes into manifestation in our lives here on earth. We do this by grace (his manifest presence and ability) through his faith.
Romans 10:17 So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We must lay hold of two words: faith cometh. If you don’t have it, you can get it. How does it come? By hearing. Hearing what?
First, by hearing what God says in His written Word (The Bible in the original manuscripts). The Lord will quicken His written Word to us; He makes it come alive; it is like a light comes on. He commands light to shine in our hearts, it becomes a living Word, just like He was speaking to us in person. Face to face.
Then we must learn how to hear His voice, the different ways he communicates with us.
Then we must learn how to appropriate His word so that it comes into manifestation. As it is in heaven, now it is on earth.
