What I’ve learned about where to look when life gets overwhelming…
There’s a Kingdom principle that has transformed how I approach every challenging situation: Turn TO God, not to your circumstances.
Your circumstances will always tell you what’s wrong, what’s missing, what’s impossible. But God wants to show you what He’s already provided, what He’s prepared, and what’s possible when you see from His perspective.
When you turn to your situation first, you’re seeing from the valley floor – everything looks bigger, harder, more overwhelming. When you turn to God first, He lifts you to His elevated perspective where you can see His provision, His strategy, His peace that’s already available.
This isn’t about ignoring reality. It’s about seeing reality from the right position – seated with Christ in heavenly places, not trapped in earthly limitations.
The beautiful thing? God isn’t waiting for you to figure it out on your own. He’s inviting you to learn WITH Him how to live above every circumstance, in partnership with His wisdom and from the security of His love for you.
Kingdom Routine for today: Before you analyze your situation, ask God, “How do You want to be with me in this? What do You want to show me about Your heart that I can only discover by walking through this together?”
What is God showing you from His elevated perspective today?
