LEGAL REDEMPTION (LR)
OUTLINE FOR AUDIO LINK
Who we are in Christ, who we are in heaven (Legal redemption).
Who Christ is in us, as we walk with God where we appropriate or partake of the divine nature progressively (Vital redemption).
LR stands for Legal Redemption and VR for Vital Redemption, in this series of teachings.
We must “be established” in our legal identity, to appropriate our vital redemption effectively. Otherwise, we will have a sin-consciousness, which will block the flow of God’s Spirit through our lives.
God sees nothing wrong with us, only what is missing of himself in us, and that is what he wants to impart to us. This is why he orders our steps, we experience trials, circumstances, people in our lives. It is like we are put in a corner, where we must have more of God in our lives. This is what all his dealings with us are about in our life here on earth.
1-Hebrews 10: 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever “eternally” (LR) those who are being sanctified (VR).
Forever in New King James Bible. The word forever is made up of three words 1-motion into 2- the 3- diēnekēs eternally. Used four times in the New Testament.
2-Hebrews 10: 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till (as long as it takes) His enemies are made His footstool (underfoot).
Colossians 2: 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Disarmed apekdyomai to strip from.
Public spectacle deigmatizō to make a public show or spectacle as the Romans did when they exposed their captives and the spoils of the conquered enemies to public view in their triumphal processions.
Talking about Melchizedek -king and priest, 3-Hebrews 7: 3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.
4-Hebrews 10:1 For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.
Romans 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined (LR) to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called (LR); whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (LR).
Romans 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified (LR) with Him, that the body of sin might be rendered inactive, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is (VR) love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified (LR) the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live (have his life) in the Spirit, let us also walk (VR) in the Spirit.
Who are those who are Christ’s? Those who were crucified together with him. Who were born again and experienced the fruit of the spirit.
Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated (LR) me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace. 16 to reveal (LR) His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles.
