Relating in the spirit

We relate to one another in the Spirit or we relate to one another on a human level (soul level) flesh. In order to come into the relationships that God desires we have to come into a oneness of the Spirit. We either see on another according to the Spirit or we see one another according to the flesh.

2 Corn 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh.

As we enter an intimacy with the Lord we begin to hear his voice, and this becomes the basis on which we relate to one another.

As we enter into the ministry of the Spirit, we reach into God where our spirit connects with the Lord, and we become aware of His presence. In that awareness, the Lord’s thoughts towards our brothers and sisters become known and He reveals His commissions for them to become and to begin to function in those callings and gifts he has ordained for them.

1Corn 12: 4Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

There is no difference in each member of the Body except that one is mouth, a hand, a foot, an ear, and one is a nose who can smell the fragrance of the presence of the Lord, keeping the atmosphere pure.

The mouth becomes the oracle of the Lord, so that Christ speaks through us. The eye sees in the spirit what is happening in the spirit world surrounding us, who is present, maintaining that wall of fire keeping the enemy out. The hand imparts the next level of spirit to one another. The foot takes the next step in the advancement of the kingdom in the earth.

One of the body’s senses is a primary function, although the body functions in all its senses, and helps the other members to function more effectively in what may be lacking in the development of all their senses, spirit, soul and body.

Each one is a distinct ministry according to the function and the commission that the Lord gives. The only distinction among any of us is the commission that the Lord has spoken over us. We are one body, but we have different functions.

Today commissions are called mandates or blueprints or assignments, they are the governmental functions in the kingdom of God.

Until we enter into a maturity in the Lord we relate to one another too much on a human level. In our immaturity we relate to one another on a personality level or a human level (soul level). We see something in another’s personality that we like, or we don’t like and tend to gravitate towards one or another based upon our preferences.

This must be eliminated for if one member of the body suffers, all the members suffer, if one member rejoices, we all rejoice, because we are coming into the day of one spirit with the Lord.

As we begin to learn how to walk in the spirit, on the spirit or divine level and not the human level, we begin to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father.

All the members of the body (sheep) hear the Shepards voice. We look to the Lord to see what he says concerning an individual. Once we are able to discern the word of the Lord for an individual, then we relate to one another according to what God has said.

God sets each member in the Body as it so pleases Him. When we are set in the body, we are given a commission or a stewardship, we are given a function to perform.

To relate to one another in the spirit is to relate to the commissions and the words that God speaks over an individual.

When we reach the place where we are submissive to the word that God has spoken over an individual, then the circumstances or shortcomings in their life do not bother us, because we are living by faith and not by sight.

All we must do then is to have enough faith to believe what God has said over the person and to believe in the commission that God has given them.

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon he called him a mighty man of valor as he was hiding from the enemy in fear. It didn’t matter his present condition, what mattered was the word that God spoke over him. All he had to do was believe what God had said to enter into his new reality.

We do not become a different person by changing our behavior, we receive a revelation from the lord of who he says we are, and we behave accordingly.

Revelation is the impartation of the Spirit where we receive His nature and abilities. God imparts himself in the words he speaks. He opens our spiritual eyes to behold his beauty and in the revelation it is imparted (give a quality to someone) to us.

We consistently see in the written word, How God would change people’s names or character by speaking a word over them. We need to remember that the battle is always a battle over the word-hath God said?

Jesus overcame the devil in the wilderness by responding to him in only one way, it is written, it is written, it is written!

We must let God direct our thinking by what he has said. The only thing that is necessary is to have a word from the Lord.

Once God has spoken, then we have a word from God to stand on and we overcome by faith in what God has said, not loving our human life, self-soul life unto death, and the word of God as our testimony ( the spirit of prophesy over us) and the blood of the Lamb.

This faith is not a human faith that we try and work up in ourselves apart from God. It is a part of Gods nature that comes to us, when he opens up our spiritual eyes to see the way that he sees. It is imparted to our spirit in an intuitive knowing, and flows into our soul so that we think and feel the way that God does.

This faith is a substance, it has force to it, it causes us to rise up in the spirit and assume our identity in the Lord. It moves us and causes us to respond or behave accordingly.

When the lord speaks to us a word over our brother and sister, we speak it forth in the anointing and the power of the Spirit and it has an impact on our brother and sister. This is who you are! And it lifts them up.

When people relate to one another in the flesh it also has a force, it is called death. It enforces their bad behavior and puts them down. It holds them in captivity and causes them to focus on what they are not.

Until the word is written on our heart so that it becomes the way we think and feel we will relate to one another in the wrong way. We will establish a relationship on the wrong basis.

We will seek a closeness with someone because we admire them or like them based upon their personality. Or we will reject them because of their personality. We will become like the Corinthians following certain ministries because we like their personalities, we are responding and reacting on the human level. What we need is to hear a word from the Lord, regardless of the vessel he uses.

Relating correctly is not a matter of adjusting to personalities, it is relating to the word God speaks into existence in our lives.

Our souls or personalities change as our mind becomes renewed, but what matters is our spirit. If we have the spirit of Christ we are a part of His body, and as Christ is manifested in us then our personalities or souls come into submission to Him, but sometimes this takes time.

When we see something in our brothers or sisters personality that is not like Christ, we have two choices. We either have enough faith and love for them to intercede and pray for them or we judge them on a human level. If we judge them then we also partake of that judgment.

The principle ingredient of submission is the faith of God. When God speaks over an individual where we can see the will of God for them in the spirit, then we can submit to one another in the fear of God.

When we see one another in the spirit and speak it over one another, in time we naturally gravitate (to move gradually and steadily toward something as if drawn by some force or attraction to that level).

We will not be able to get along with one another until we begin to see ourselves in God. When God joined himself to our spirit we became a new creation. Our spirit has a yes in it to the will of God. In God’s eyes our spirit is beautiful because it is a part of Him. But there is still a lot of darkness in our soul. We have two kinds of life in us.

The life of God in us in our spirit and our natural created human life is in our soul. Our soul has been fashioned after our life experiences, and we have experienced some things that have damaged our personality. If we focus on our soul-life that is being saved we will never feel saved, but will subconsciously not like ourselves.

If we learn how to focus on the life of God in our spirit, then we will begin to love the work of God that he has begun in us. If we love God we will love that which has been begotten of Him.

Until we learn how to walk in the spirit we are going to walk according to our soul, we will withdraw and tend to be rebellious even though our innermost desire is not to do so. When this happens; it will infect-pollute-defile every attitude we have toward one another.

If we do not like ourselves, then we don’t really like anyone else either including God. If we are not aware of God’s presence and the life flow of His Spirit in us, our vision is blurred and we do not see or think clearly.

When we receive a word from God concerning our brother or sister in the Lord, then we are not to allow the incomplete manifestation of that word in their life to affect our faith in that word.

We see one another according to the word God has spoken over the individual even if it has not yet come into complete manifestation. We must believe the word regardless of how incomplete the manifestation of it is at this moment in time.

We have to believe for one another. When must place our faith in the Lord, not the person. We believe for the Lord to finish the work he has started in our brother and sister.

In and of ourselves we will always be nothing so that God becomes everything. This is why when we start following the lord he will lead us into a difficult situation so that we have no choice but to believe him.

God will continually lead us into a situation where we have to look to Him. We are placed in a situation where we need a miracle, so that God can then manifest himself.

We are called to live an impossible life according to human abilities. Jesus is I am that I am, the God who manifests himself in the now. As we begin to understand the ways of God, then we can rejoice in trouble. God desires to manifest himself to us, so that we realize a lot of the problems we have are of his doing, so that he may be glorified.

When God led the children out of Israel, he led them to the red sea. When they got there they were put in a corner. They could not cross the sea in front of them and the Egyptians were behind them ready to kill them. They needed a miracle. It was God who created the problem, so that only He could be the solution of it.
