A Spiritual man or woman

The person who is born again and filled with the Spirit can still be fleshly for their spirit may yet be under the domination of their soul or body. There are some actions required if we are to become spiritual.

We can be a saved believer and continually living according to the flesh or we can take the steps of developing into a spiritual mature male or female son of God.

YHWH can transform a fleshly Christian into a spiritual one by their receiving His life more abundantly.

Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and receiving Jesus as Lord and savior causes the Holy Spirit to overshadow the person and command light to shine in their spirit so that they are born again.

Obedience to the Holy Spirit will make us a spiritual believer. Developing the proper relationship with the Holy Spirit where we become Led by the Holy Spirit will cause us to grow up into a fully, spiritual man or woman.

The Holy Spirit alone can cause us to be spiritual believers. It is His work to bring us into spirituality.

The finished work of Jesus, makes us into a new creation, righteous and holy in His sight legally and crucifies our old man destroying all which comes from the first Adam.

Now our spirit is willing to walk with God, but if we yield to the flesh, it totally defiles us. If we persist in fulfilling the lust of the flesh, our heart will begin to harden where we are no longer sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit executes the positive work of building all which comes from Christ in our spirit.

The cross makes spirituality possible to believers; but it is the Holy Spirit Who causes us to become spiritual, if we will obey his leading. When we are doers of the word our obedience is partaking of the divine nature. We go from grace to grace, faith to faith, and glory to glory, our life becomes transformed which means living by a new life source, Christ in us.

The meaning of being spiritual is to respond to all trials, circumstances, situations, people with the divine nature, and this takes practice.

We must understand the legal aspects and the vital aspects of the Cross. Some “so called” spiritual people think I am into works and effort. When you enter the rest of God, you labor more abundantly than them all, like the Apostle Paul.

1 Corinthians 15: 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

It is grace to become and grace to do, it is a flow of the Spirit in you, it is Christ living through you.

We must understand who we are legally in Christ, so that it becomes our identity. YHVH sees us perfect in Christ. He sits on His throne in heaven and has a different perspective about us, than what other people may think about us from their human viewpoint.

But then we must walk in the good works prepared for us before the foundation of the world, this is the vital aspect of redemption.

Ephesians 2: 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The Holy Spirit strengthens our spirit with might, so that our spirit in oneness with Christ can govern our soul and body.

Ephesians 3: 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man (spirit).

In our pursuit of spirituality, we must never forget to partner with the Holy Spirit.

A spiritual Christian must experimentally know the Holy Spirit in his spirit. He must pass through several spiritual experiences.

Learning to hear his voice, all the senses of our spirit and how they function.

We should realize by now that what hinders one from being spiritual is the flesh. The flesh is that union of soul and body that acts independently of the Holy Spirit.

The more spiritual one becomes the more they know the flesh, because we increasingly discover when we are in the spirit, or in our soul- flesh.
